Excelmarkets – Maybe The Best Forex Broker
Getting started at forex? The newbie would often turn to names with brand recall. I’m looking at you OANDA or CitiFinancial. Big brands are safe. There’s a catch, however. Due to their size, the average customer can’t expect premium services from a company that handles thousands of customers. You’re just one of the drones making the big companies money- therefore you’ll have to accept their limitations such as
- Massive spreadds
- Hefty commission fees
- Lagging customer service
- Crazy slippage
I’ve been a forex trader since 2005 and played with brokers like XForex, IronForex, CIC Asia and Performance Foreign Exchange. I’ve made a fortune from these brokers starting with as low as $2000- but then I realized that some companies aren’t so forthright (No naming names here). During periods of high volatility, for instance, I’ve noticed massive discrepancies between feed on their demo accounts and live accounts. Spreads go sky high. And orders lag. Worse- when it’s time to withdraw that hard earned cash- there’s a lot of hemming and hawing. You almost feel like you’re talking with donkies.

Imagine spreads from .6 to 1.6. That would be an insane proposition, even for lying companies that promise you stars but sell you mud. Execution streaks lightning fast even during periods of crazy volatility. I’ve never seen lags even during the advent of economic news releases.
Leverage is above average going up to 1:400, and lot sizes range from .01 to 8… something high risk traders like myself look to.
I love the fact that they let you use Metatrader while provide full mobile support. Tools abound on their site- all easy and straightforward to you.
